Here’s a great example of striking illumination in the cooking/dining space. This style of pendant shade looks awesome on its own but even better in multiples. Oversized drum pendants flood this central kitchen island in light whilst breaking up the predominantly white décor scheme. In a plain white room, an unusually shaped shade can do the talking. This kitchen vista employs a different tack in making a statement, introducing a vibrant red accent chair where the outside view can be enjoyed whilst the chef waits on the cooker to ping. At the basin, an elegant chrome tap echoes the curvaceous lines of the seat design. Recessed ceiling lighting keeps this kitchen run sleek and simple, under which metallic trims shine. This layout provides an angular solution to kitchen meets dining room, where the run of kitchen units morph into dining area storage. A wood grain clad wall ties in the entertainment wall with the culinary area, where the same material is utilized as a backsplash. This quirky arrangement of wall units creates interest. A multi-level bench compilation creates an undulating finish that is a far cry from the traditionally straight kitchen design. Pendant lights are hung at different levels to continue the break in conformity, and floating base cabinets also provide a break from the norm and make the room appear more spacious by revealing more of the floor area.
