True basketball fans will know that Michael Jordan chose the number 23 jersey at high school and continued that tradition into his career with the Chicago Bulls, so it’s no wonder that when you pull up to the gates of his multimillion dollar mansion that you are greeted with the legendary shirt number in full letterman glory. However, this sportsman’s home is now firmly on the market with the new price tag of $16 million dollars, reduced from a staggering $29 million price tag back in 2012. Let’s take a look around the home situated on over seven acres of stunning emerald landscape in Highland Park, north of Chicago.

Built in 1995, the home boasts impressive light flooded main rooms that are framed with floor to ceiling windows, perfect for first impressions when guests visit. Double height living areas take full advantage of the garden views, whilst offering an understated elegance complete with the hush of plush carpets underfoot.

A lily pond and sweeping flagstone patio add to the stunning scenery that surrounds the house.

The sprawling home has 9 bedrooms, 15 bathrooms, 4 half-baths, an impressive home gym, a 14 car capacity garage, and if you should find the need for a cigar room then you’ll find one of those here too!
